Position: QA Engineer (2 Positions Available)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and define test objectives and strategies.
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects, bugs, and other quality issues.
- Report and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on software usability, performance, and functionality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing.
Requirements:
- Prior working experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Familiarity with various testing techniques, such as black box testing, white box testing, and regression testing.
- Experience in testing web applications, mobile applications, or software systems.
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools and bug reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus.
- Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB, are a plus.
