Job Description:
As a QA Engineer at Text Mercator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our text analysis and NLP software products. You will work closely with the development team to create and execute test cases, identify and report defects, and help deliver high-quality software to our clients.

- Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to create test plans and strategies for software projects.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, report defects, and verify bug fixes to ensure the software’s functionality and performance.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to identify and prevent software regressions.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Bug Tracking: Use bug tracking tools to report, track, and manage software defects.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA and contribute to the improvement of our QA processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in QA engineering.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
