Position: QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing activities, including test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand requirements and provide valuable feedback.
  • Identify, record, and track defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address issues in design and implementation.
  • Participate in test planning and test estimation activities.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Utilize automation tools and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
  • Design and implement automation test scripts and integrate them into the testing process.
  • Perform API testing and validate data integration across different systems.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
  • Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
  • Experience in designing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and communicate issues effectively.
  • Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting.
  • Experience with API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
