Key Responsibilities:

As a Software QA Engineer with team leadership experience at Kapiva, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a Team: Take charge of a team of 2-3 QA engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
  2. Test Planning and Design: Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage and alignment with product requirements.
  3. Manual and Automated Testing: Conduct rigorous manual and automated testing to identify and report software defects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
  4. Collaboration with Development Team: Collaborate closely with the development team to understand product requirements and participate in design reviews and code inspections.
  5. Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to maintain product stability and ensure that new changes do not impact existing functionalities.
  6. Process Improvements: Propose and implement improvements to QA processes and methodologies to enhance overall software quality and efficiency.
  7. Technical Issue Resolution: Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, working closely with the development team to resolve them efficiently.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer, with a minimum of 1 year in a team leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in manual testing and experience with automated testing tools.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems for efficient issue management.
  • Basic programming skills to comprehend code and conduct testing.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
