Position: QA Engineer (Automation & Manual)
Location: Bellandur, Bangalore (Work from Office)

TEKsystems, a leading global provider of IT staffing and services, is currently hiring for the position of QA Engineer (Automation & Manual) in our Bangalore office. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals with experience in both automation and manual testing to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a combination of 60% automation and 40% manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Conduct functional testing using manual testing techniques to validate the software against defined requirements.
- Utilize an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language such as Java, Python, or Ruby to automate test scripts.
- Work with TestRail and Jira to manage and track test cases, test execution, and defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
- Execute and analyze test results, identify defects, and track them to resolution.
- Participate in test planning, test strategy, and test estimation activities.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in QA methodologies and tools.
Skills Required:
- Strong proficiency in functional testing with hands-on experience in manual testing techniques.
- Proficiency in using any OOP language (Java, Python, Ruby) to automate test scripts.
- Experience with TestRail and Jira for test case management and defect tracking.
- Good understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) processes.
