Position: QA Engineer

Job Description: Yethi, a leading software solutions provider, is currently seeking a talented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing, with specific expertise in the banking domain. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and validation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing of banking software applications.
- Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts to verify software functionality and adherence to requirements.
- Perform end-to-end testing of banking workflows and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in test planning and estimation activities.
- Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools.
- Adhere to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in the banking domain.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Familiarity with banking workflows and processes.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Experience in end-to-end testing of banking applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
