Position: QA Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications, and actively participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.
- Perform manual testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing, to identify defects and verify fixes.
- Use various testing techniques to ensure that software applications meet specified requirements and user expectations.
- Conduct thorough and systematic bug tracking, reporting, and documentation to assist in the timely resolution of issues.
- Utilize test automation tools and frameworks to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for efficient and effective testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to provide valuable insights on testing strategies and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in the field of quality assurance and testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, with 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking processes.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, for test automation.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus.
