About the Role: As a QA Engineer at AppSierra, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our clients’ software applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, utilizing the Testim tool to drive efficient and effective testing processes. Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand application requirements and design test strategies that align with business goals.
- Create, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of application functionality.
- Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on business criticality and user workflows.
Test Automation and Execution:
- Leverage the Testim tool to automate test cases and optimize the testing process for efficiency and repeatability.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
- Report and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Regression and Performance Testing:
- Perform regression testing to validate software changes and enhancements across different releases.
- Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness, stability, and scalability.
Continuous Improvement:
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Provide feedback and insights to help enhance the overall quality of the software development lifecycle.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results for clear communication and knowledge sharing.
- Generate detailed defect reports and test summaries for project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience of 3+ years in software quality assurance and testing.
Strong proficiency with the Testim tool for test automation.
Solid understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Experience in manual testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with remote and distributed teams.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
