5D Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual testing. - Perform manual testing on software applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Participate in the design and development of test strategies.
- Execute regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
- Report and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0.6 to 1 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus but not required.
