Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create a comprehensive Test Approach and test criteria based on project requirements.
  • Develop and execute Test Scenarios covering both functional and non-functional aspects of the software.
  • Conduct manual testing, including Web UI testing and REST API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Ensure thorough testing of Software Functional End-to-End (E2E) and Integration aspects.
  • Design, write, and maintain test scenarios and test cases to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Continuously learn and apply test scenario analysis best practices to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality testing outcomes, identifying and recording bugs accurately.
  • Coordinate with the development team to provide continuous feedback during testing.
  • Prioritize and plan testing activities, estimating the effort required for testing tasks.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure the stability of the software.
  • Apply testing processes to both new and existing products, aligning them with client needs.
  • Monitor debugging process results and investigate the root causes of non-conforming software.
  • Train users on implementing solutions to address identified issues.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to enhance testing practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 3 to 5 years as a QA Engineer, with a focus on manual testing.
  • Prior experience in the US Health care domain is essential.
  • Expertise in testing Claims modules in the health insurance area; Billing and enrollment experience will be desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Web UI testing and REST API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Experience in testing Software Functional End-to-End (E2E) and Integration aspects.
  • Ability to design, write, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  • Eagerness to learn and adopt best practices in test scenario analysis.
  • Dedicated to delivering high-quality testing outcomes with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software development.
  • Troubleshooting skills and the ability to triage issues based on logs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Good understanding of SQL for database testing.
