Position: QA Automation/Manual Tester

Role and Responsibilities:

As a QA Automation/Manual Tester at Appincubator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile and web applications.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Perform manual testing of mobile and web applications, including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UI testing.
  • Conduct API testing using REST and SOAP protocols to validate the functionality and performance of backend services.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to understand project objectives and ensure effective testing.
  • Familiarity with test planning and reporting to track testing progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects and issues in a clear and concise manner using established processes and tools.
  • Participate in test plan reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the automation team to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using APPIUM tool.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, test coverage, and test results.
  • Work in a team-oriented environment, actively participating in knowledge sharing, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving discussions.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of testing principles and concepts, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in manual testing, including experience in mobile and web application testing.
  • Strong knowledge of testing principles, methodologies, and concepts.
  • Familiarity with API testing using REST and SOAP protocols.
  • Good understanding of test planning, test case design, and reporting.
  • Experience with APPIUM tool for automation testing is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document defects effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
