Python QA Engineer | Bangalore | 2.5+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Python Coding and Debugging:
  • Write, debug, and maintain high-quality Python code.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases using Python.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Automation Testing:
  • Design and develop automated tests to ensure the quality of the product.
  • Utilize Python-based test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
  • Maintain and improve the existing automation framework and scripts.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the development team to understand the requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide QA perspective.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 2.5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on Python.
• Skills:
  • Excellent proficiency in Python coding and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience with Python automation frameworks and tools.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to write and execute test cases efficiently.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
