Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Performance Tester at TEKsystems, you will be responsible for:
- Working as Software Engineer – QA: Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure the software meets quality and performance standards.
- Understanding of the Product: Gain a deep understanding of the software product, its features, and performance requirements.
- Test Case Creation: Write and review test cases that comprehensively cover the performance aspects of the application.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and meticulously record and upload the test results.
- Defect Reporting: Identify and document any defects or issues found during testing, including filing detailed bug reports.
- Bug Verification: Verify resolved defects to ensure they have been fixed correctly.
- Testing Types: Conduct a variety of testing types including Sanity, Feature, Regression, Performance, and Load testing.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in Performance Testing and Manual Testing.
- Proficiency in Performance Testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating with developers and other stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
