As a Performance Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and responsiveness of our software applications. This position is based in Pune, and we are looking for candidates with 3-6 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities:

1. Performance Testing: Conduct end-to-end performance testing of software applications to evaluate their responsiveness, stability, and scalability under different workload scenarios.
2. Test Planning: Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive performance test plans and test cases.
3. Test Execution: Execute performance tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks, simulating realistic user scenarios to assess the application’s behavior under stress, load, and concurrent user conditions.
4. Performance Metrics: Analyze and interpret performance metrics, such as response times, throughput, and resource utilization, to identify performance bottlenecks and areas of improvement.
5. Test Automation: Utilize automation testing tools to streamline and enhance the performance testing process. Develop automated scripts to execute performance tests efficiently.
6. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify and document performance-related defects, and work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.
7. Performance Analysis: Perform in-depth root cause analysis of performance issues, collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
8. Performance Tuning: Suggest and implement performance tuning strategies to optimize application performance and enhance end-user experience.
9. Performance Monitoring: Set up and maintain performance monitoring tools to track application performance in real-time and proactively identify performance degradation.
10. Documentation: Create detailed test reports and documentation, summarizing test results, performance findings, and recommendations for future improvements.

Mandatory Skills:

1. IBM Mapping: Proficiency in IBM Mapping tools and technologies to execute performance tests on applications integrated with IBM Mapping solutions.
2. Manual and Automation Testing: Strong background in both manual and automation testing methodologies to perform comprehensive performance tests using a mix of manual and automated approaches.
3. Selenium: Hands-on experience with Selenium, an essential tool for automating web application testing, to conduct performance tests on web-based applications.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 3-6 years of proven experience in performance testing, with a track record of successful performance testing projects.
2. Performance Testing Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
3. Scripting and Programming: Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) to develop and modify performance test scripts.
4. Performance Analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze performance metrics and identify performance bottlenecks.
5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate performance test results and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and contributing to the collective success of the project.
7. Immediate Joiners: Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days.
