Job Summary: As a Performance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our software applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute performance tests using LoadRunner and JMeter to validate the system’s response under varying load conditions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks, provide insights into system behavior, and suggest improvements to optimize application performance. The position is available in Abu Dhabi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, and we are looking for an immediate joiner or someone with a notice period of 30 to 40 days.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the development and quality assurance teams to understand application architecture, performance requirements, and testing objectives.
  2. Design performance test scenarios, test cases, and test data, ensuring coverage of critical business processes.
  3. Develop and execute performance tests using industry-standard tools like LoadRunner and JMeter.
  4. Conduct load, stress, and scalability tests to assess the application’s performance under various load conditions.
  5. Monitor and analyze performance test results, identifying performance bottlenecks, and providing insights into system behavior.
  6. Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to address performance issues and suggest optimizations.
  7. Provide performance testing reports and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.
  8. Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts for performance-related incidents.
  9. Develop and maintain performance testing scripts, ensuring reusability and maintainability.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement performance testing best practices and methodologies.
  11. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in performance testing tools and techniques, applying them to improve testing practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in performance testing, load testing, and stress testing.
  3. Expertise in using LoadRunner and JMeter for designing and executing performance tests.
  4. Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  5. Proficiency in performance monitoring and analysis tools, with the ability to interpret test results effectively.
  6. Knowledge of various protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, and REST for performance testing.
  7. Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for web-based applications.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey testing insights and recommendations.
