Position: Peoplesoft Testing Professionals
Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans and strategies for Peoplesoft applications.
- Test Execution: Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on Peoplesoft applications to validate their functionality, usability, and performance.
- Test Scripting: Develop and maintain test scripts and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Test Data Management: Create and manage test data sets, including data preparation, data masking, and data validation, to ensure accurate and consistent test results.
- Defect Management: Identify, track, and report software defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Peoplesoft testing tools and frameworks, with the goal of increasing test efficiency and repeatability.
- Test Environment Setup: Collaborate with system administrators and database administrators to set up and configure test environments, including hardware, software, and databases, to simulate production environments accurately.
- Performance Testing: Conduct load, stress, and performance testing on Peoplesoft applications to identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and ensure scalability.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports, to facilitate knowledge transfer and provide clear visibility into the testing process.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, methodologies, and best practices in Peoplesoft testing, and propose and implement process improvements to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the testing process.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on application quality, communicate test results, progress, and risks effectively, and participate in project meetings and reviews.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in Peoplesoft testing is required.
- Skill Set: Strong expertise in Peoplesoft QA, including functional and integration testing of Peoplesoft applications, familiarity with PeopleTools, and experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of Peoplesoft.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing SQL queries to retrieve and validate data, knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks, and experience with test management tools.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Peoplesoft applications, modules, and processes, such as HRMS, Financials, Supply Chain Management, and Campus Solutions, depending on the specific requirements of the position.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze business requirements, design effective test strategies, and identify defects and root causes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document test artifacts, and effectively communicate test results and issues.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, and adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to identify and reproduce software defects effectively and ensure the accuracy and completeness of test documentation.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and assignments to meet project deadlines.
