Position: MS Dynamics QA

Location: Bangalore, India

Role and Responsibilities:

As an MS Dynamics QA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our MS Dynamics 365 Online Application (Sales or Service) modules, as well as other CRM applications such as SFDC, Oracle Siebel, etc. Your primary role will involve testing, validating, and identifying any issues in the system to ensure its optimal performance and functionality. Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various MS Dynamics modules. Execute tests and analyze the results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Integration Testing: Perform integration testing with external systems through REST APIs, both with and without middleware. Validate the smooth functioning and data consistency between MS Dynamics and other systems.
  • Data Migration Testing: Conduct data migration testing using either tools or CRM features to ensure accurate and seamless transfer of data. Verify the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of migrated data.
  • API Testing: Test REST APIs using tools like Postman or similar platforms to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the APIs. Ensure the seamless integration of MS Dynamics with external applications and systems.
  • Automation Testing: For automation testers, design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or similar frameworks. Implement test automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects using appropriate tools and methodologies. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues and retest fixes.
  • Test Reporting: Prepare and present test reports, including test results, defects, and overall system quality. Provide recommendations for process improvements and optimization based on testing outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in MS Dynamics QA or similar roles, preferably working with Dynamics 365 Online Application (Sales or Service) modules or other CRM applications such as SFDC, Oracle Siebel, etc.
  • Strong Knowledge: In-depth understanding of MS Dynamics CRM, its modules, and related concepts. Familiarity with CRM testing methodologies and best practices.
  • API Testing: Proficiency in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or similar platforms. Experience with integration testing and data migration testing involving external systems through APIs.
  • Automation Testing: For automation testers, hands-on experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium or similar frameworks. Ability to develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to share knowledge, learn from others, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
