Job Description:

As a Mobile QA Engineer at Staffing Comrade, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of mobile applications. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of mobile testing activities, including automation, manual testing, API testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mobile Testing: Conduct comprehensive mobile application testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards.
  2. Automation Testing (Appium): Utilize your expertise in Appium to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications. Enhance testing efficiency and coverage through automation.
  3. Manual Testing: Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts. Identify and document defects accurately, ensuring the quality of mobile application functionality.
  4. API Testing: Conduct API testing to validate data exchange and communication between mobile applications and server components.
  5. Charles Proxy: Use Charles Proxy to monitor and capture network traffic, enabling the identification of issues related to network requests and responses.
  6. Postman: Employ Postman for API testing and automation. Create and execute API test suites to verify the integrity and functionality of APIs.
  7. Test Case Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective and thorough test cases, ensuring coverage of functional, regression, and performance testing.
  8. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

Qualifications:
