Role Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Manual Testing QA professionals to join our team at Advanz101. As a Manual Testing QA Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through rigorous manual testing and API testing, with a focus on using POSTMAN for API testing. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in manual testing, possess strong skills in API testing using POSTMAN, and have a thorough understanding of SQL queries and database testing. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and fellow QA team members, to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
  • Perform manual testing of software applications to validate their functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Conduct API testing using POSTMAN to verify the communication and integration between various components of the software.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test documentation to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution.
  • Participate in test planning, test estimation, and test strategy activities to ensure effective testing coverage.
  • Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes to maintain software integrity after code changes or updates.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, testing tools, and best practices in manual testing and API testing.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing and API testing.
  • Proficiency in API testing using POSTMAN or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of SQL queries and database testing.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test case management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and communicate defects effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills.
