Responsibilities:

As a Manual Testing professional at Maveric, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of banking software. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Domain Expertise: Demonstrating experience in the banking sector, you will utilize your understanding of banking processes, operations, and regulations to effectively test financial software solutions.
  • Requirement Understanding: Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to comprehend and analyze business requirements and functional specifications that guide the testing process.
  • Test Case Development: Creating detailed and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications. Your expertise will ensure the adequate coverage of various application functionalities.
  • Test Data Preparation: Designing and preparing the necessary test data that accurately reflects real-world scenarios, allowing for thorough testing of software components.
  • Test Execution: Methodically executing test cases to validate software functionalities, ensuring that applications meet quality standards and perform as expected.
  • Defect Reporting: Identifying and documenting defects or inconsistencies in the software through clear and concise defect reports. Collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Regression Testing: Conducting regression testing to verify that software modifications or enhancements have not negatively impacted existing functionalities.
  • Test Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of testing processes, test cases, results, and any relevant observations.
