Job Summary:

Kumaran Systems is seeking an experienced Manual Tester to join our dynamic team in Chennai. Responsibilities:

As a Manual Tester at Kumaran Systems, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Manual Testing: Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to verify the functionality and integrity of software applications.
2. Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to ensure clear understanding of requirements and testing objectives.
3. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defects. Ensure that testing artifacts are organized and readily accessible.
4. Banking Domain Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the Banking Domain to identify domain-specific testing requirements and risks.
5. QA Processes: Contribute to the improvement and adherence of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices within the organization.
6. API Testing (Desirable): Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and performance of APIs. Familiarity with tools and techniques for API testing is a plus.
7. SQL (Desirable): Utilize SQL for database testing and validation of data integrity.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in manual software testing.
• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in the Banking Domain is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with API testing and SQL is desirable.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality assurance.
