Position: Hybris Testing
Location: Chennai
Job Overview: As a Hybris Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our e-commerce platform built on the Hybris framework. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers. Your expertise in both manual and automated testing, along with your strong understanding of quality assurance principles, will be instrumental in the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end testing of our Hybris-based e-commerce platform, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for both web and mobile applications.
- Conduct thorough defect analysis, document and track bugs, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, define testing strategies, and provide valuable insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with development teams to validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure that the system meets the defined standards.
- Identify and implement improvements to testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in e-commerce and testing methodologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Hybris Tester or similar role, with a strong focus on e-commerce testing.
- In-depth knowledge of Hybris platform and experience in testing Hybris-based applications.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, including the use of testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in functional, regression, and performance testing of web and mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams effectively.
