Role and Responsibilities:

As a Manual Testing Fresher at Impetus Systems, you will be an integral part of our quality assurance team. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Test Planning: Collaborate with senior testers to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software features.
  2. Test Execution: Manually execute test cases to identify software defects, track issues, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  3. Defect Reporting: Document and report identified defects using appropriate tools, clearly describing the issue and providing necessary information for developers to replicate and address the problem.
  4. Regression Testing: Participate in regression testing to validate that software updates and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
  5. Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential usability issues, inconsistencies, and user experience concerns.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to provide timely feedback on defects, offer suggestions for improvements, and facilitate communication between development and testing teams.
  7. Test Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results, to support the testing process and knowledge sharing.
  8. Quality Assurance: Contribute to the overall quality assurance process by actively participating in test reviews, suggesting process improvements, and sharing best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply. No prior work experience is required.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow test cases.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to clearly document defects and communicate with team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Location: This position is based in Hyderabad. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad.
