We are seeking a Manual Testing Engineer to join our team in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Manual Testing Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to thoroughly evaluate software applications to ensure they meet our quality standards. You will work closely with the development team and other stakeholders to identify and report defects and verify that the software functions as expected. Your key responsibilities will include:
Best Mobile For You- Test Case Design: Develop detailed test cases based on software requirements and user stories, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Manual Testing: Execute test cases meticulously to identify defects, report issues, and verify bug fixes.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to confirm that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality.
- Test Documentation: Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results, to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards.
- Defect Reporting: Accurately report and prioritize defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Communication: Effectively communicate testing progress, results, and issues to the development team and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and techniques.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
