Job Summary: As a Manual Testing Engineer with a specialization in Database Testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include performing various testing activities, identifying defects, and working closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Your expertise in writing Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and your understanding of QA concepts will be essential in the execution of efficient and effective testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Database Testing Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge and experience in Database Testing to perform rigorous testing of our software applications, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
2. Testing Methodologies: Apply your understanding of various testing methodologies, including SDLC, UAT, GUI Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Smoke Testing, and more, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
3. Test Scenario and Test Case Creation: Expertly identify and write Test Scenarios and Test Cases, considering different test scenarios and business use cases to validate the functionality and performance of our products.
4. QA Concepts: Demonstrate a strong grasp of QA concepts to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process.
5. Technical Understanding: Possess a good understanding of IIS, Windows Services, TCP/IP, and RestAPI concepts, allowing you to effectively test and validate complex software functionalities.
6. Automation Exposure: While the primary focus of this role is on Manual Testing, familiarity with automation tools, especially Selenium with Java, would be considered an added advantage.
7. Defect Identification and Reporting: Detect and report software defects and issues with precision and accuracy. Work closely with the development team to facilitate defect resolution.
8. Collaborative Approach: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless communication and a unified approach to software quality.

Requirements:

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Relevant Experience: Proven 1 – 3 years of experience as a Manual Testing Engineer with a specific focus on Database Testing.
3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex software functionalities and identify potential defects.
4. Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and ensuring thorough testing.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively document test cases, test results, and communicate with the team.
6. Immediate Joiners: Immediate joiners are preferred for this position.
