Job Description:
Ingersoll Rand is seeking a talented Manual Testing Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience in testing embedded applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of manual testing methodologies, user interface testing, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. As a Manual Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of embedded applications to identify defects, issues, and areas for improvement.
- User Interface Testing: Evaluate the user interface of software applications to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience.
- Test Scenario and Test Case Creation: Develop detailed test scenarios and test cases based on project requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our global team to understand project requirements and provide timely updates on testing progress.
- Problem Solving: Break down complex problems into solvable components and work diligently to resolve them.
- Communication: Exhibit excellent communication skills to convey test results, issues, and solutions effectively to the team and stakeholders.
- Basic Programming Skills: Possess basic programming skills in languages such as C, C++, or Python to support testing activities and automate repetitive tasks.
- Electrical Knowledge: Have a fundamental understanding of electrical concepts and experience working with scopes and multimeters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing, specifically in embedded application testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic programming skills in C, C++, or Python.
- Familiarity with electrical concepts and equipment like scopes and multimeters.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
- Immediate availability for joining the team.
- Willingness to work from our office in Bangalore, Karnataka.
