Position: Manual Testing

Location: Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and Gurgaon

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct manual testing to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
  • Identify and document software defects using appropriate bug tracking tools and follow established processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  • Conduct regression testing to validate the stability and compatibility of software applications after changes or enhancements.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports on the quality and progress of the testing process to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review system requirements and provide feedback on testability and potential improvements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in manual testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
  • Experience in executing manual test cases and identifying software defects.
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or similar systems.
  • Prior experience working with Agile methodologies will be an advantage.
  • Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.
