Position: Manual Testing

Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct manual testing to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
- Identify and document software defects using appropriate bug tracking tools and follow established processes.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions to ensure efficient and effective testing.
- Conduct regression testing to validate the stability and compatibility of software applications after changes or enhancements.
- Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports on the quality and progress of the testing process to stakeholders.
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review system requirements and provide feedback on testability and potential improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
- 4 to 7 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Experience in executing manual test cases and identifying software defects.
- Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or similar systems.
- Prior experience working with Agile methodologies will be an advantage.
- Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.
