Role and Responsibilities:

As a Manual Tester at Mobile Programming, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  1. Experience in UI Automation: Demonstrate 2 to 3 years of experience in UI automation, without API automation knowledge, showcasing your expertise in creating and executing automated UI tests.
  2. Software Test Lifecycle (STLC) Awareness: Apply your knowledge of STLC to effectively plan, design, execute, and report on test activities.
  3. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Awareness: Understand the various stages of SDLC and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and efficient testing.
  4. Web Application Testing: Leverage your expertise in web application testing to validate functionality, performance, and user experience.
  5. API Testing using Postman (Manual): Utilize Postman to perform manual API testing, ensuring API functionality, response accuracy, and data integrity.
  6. Database Testing Knowledge: Apply your knowledge of database testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and successful interaction between the application and the database.
  7. Banking Domain Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of the banking domain to ensure compliance with industry regulations and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  8. Payment Knowledge: Demonstrate familiarity with different types of payments, ensuring the accuracy and security of payment-related functionalities.
  9. Server-Side Testing: Perform server-side testing to validate backend processes, data flow, and system integration.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in manual testing, with a focus on web application testing, API testing, and database testing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in UI automation, web application testing, API testing using Postman, and database testing.
  • Domain Expertise: Knowledge of the banking domain and familiarity with different types of payments.
  • STLC and SDLC: Understanding of Software Test Lifecycle (STLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Server-Side Testing: Experience in server-side testing to ensure backend processes and data integrity.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to accurately identify and document defects.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report testing results.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Location: This position is based in Mumbai.
