Position: Manual Tester with Banking Domain Experience
Location: Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata

Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual testing to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications in the banking domain.
- Banking Domain Expertise: Apply your in-depth understanding of the banking domain to test various financial products and systems effectively.
- Core Banking System: Utilize hands-on experience in retail core banking systems, preferably Systematics, to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of testing processes.
- Digital Online Banking: Conduct testing for digital online banking platforms to validate the seamless user experience and smooth transactional processes.
- Mobile Banking: Perform testing on mobile banking applications to ensure functionality, compatibility, and security across different devices.
- Payments and Cards: Verify the accuracy and reliability of payment processing systems and card-related functionalities.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and assist in defining comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and scenarios to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues in the banking software.
- Defect Reporting: Document and report software defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Test Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and test procedures for future reference.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that software updates and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
- Test Coverage: Create test coverage documentation to ensure adequate testing of all critical components in the banking software.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing the testing practices within the organization.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Manual Tester, with a significant focus on the banking domain.
- Manual Testing: Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, methodologies, and techniques.
- Banking Domain: Extensive experience in the banking industry, with a good understanding of retail core banking systems, preferably Systematics.
- Digital Banking: Hands-on experience in testing digital online banking platforms and mobile banking applications.
- Payments and Cards: Familiarity with payment processing systems and card-related functionalities.
- Bug Tracking Tools: Proficiency in using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools for defect reporting and tracking.
- Test Documentation: Excellent documentation skills to maintain detailed test cases and test results.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot software issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate test results and collaborate with team members.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
