Role Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our team in Ahmedabad. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing and analysis. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in manual testing, possess comprehensive knowledge of testing tools, and have a basic understanding of programming languages. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual testing of software applications to validate their functionality, performance, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to understand project requirements and test scenarios.
  • Utilize testing tools and frameworks to design and execute comprehensive test cases and test suites.
  • Analyze the technical characteristics of equipment systems and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Assist in bug detection and work closely with the development team to facilitate timely bug fixing.
  • Conduct product testing after its presentation to ensure it meets the specified requirements and functions as intended.
  • Test and analyze the results of product testing, documenting findings, and providing actionable feedback to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to maintain and enhance testing processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures throughout the software development life cycle.

Requirements:

  • Completed specialized education or relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of software applications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of testing tools and frameworks to facilitate efficient testing processes.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages to assist in debugging and test case design.
  • Mastery of QA methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and communicate defects effectively.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory but a plus):

  • Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks for process optimization.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
