Position Overview: We are looking for a Manual Tester with 2-3 years of experience to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. As a Manual Tester at TrackDfect, you will play a crucial role in identifying defects, verifying fixes, and contributing to the overall improvement of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ expectations.

- Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
- Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and design documentation.
- Execute test cases and report defects using appropriate testing tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide input on testability and potential risks.
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure that defects have been successfully resolved.
- Continuously monitor and document testing activities, including test execution results, test case coverage, and defect tracking.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices within the organization.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing to bring innovative ideas to the testing process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types, and testing techniques.
- Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and experience in reporting and managing defects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear and concise testing reports.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications will be a plus.
