Job Description:

As a Manual Tester at Pixoatic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software products. You will work closely with our development and quality assurance teams to identify, document, and report defects, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  1. Test Planning: Collaborate with the project team to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases that effectively cover all aspects of the software.
  2. Test Execution: Execute manual test cases, documenting test results and identifying defects. Verify that issues are resolved and retest as necessary.
  3. Defect Management: Accurately document defects, track their status, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  4. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  5. Usability Testing: Evaluate the user-friendliness of software applications, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of testing requirements.
  7. Test Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized records of test plans, test cases, and test results.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.

Qualifications:

  1. 2 to 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
  2. Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  3. Ability to create and execute comprehensive test cases based on project requirements.
  4. Experience with defect tracking tools and processes.
  5. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  7. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  8. Adept at working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
