Role Overview:
As a Manual Tester at Jio, you will be responsible for verifying the functionality, usability, and reliability of our software products. Your role will involve creating and executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software to our customers. - Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Create detailed and well-structured manual test cases based on project requirements.
- Execute manual test cases and document test results thoroughly.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts.
- Identify and report defects effectively, working with the development team to facilitate resolution.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design review meetings to ensure testability and raise concerns early in the development cycle.
- Perform regression testing to verify the stability of software releases.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Ensure that software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BE/Btech/MCA).
- Minimum of 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in manual software testing.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating clear and comprehensive manual test cases.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems and testing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
- Experience in agile and/or waterfall software development methodologies is a plus.
