Manual Tester | Hyderabad

Job Description:

As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for performing thorough manual testing of our software products to ensure their quality and functionality. You will work closely with the testing team to identify defects and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Execution:
   • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
   • Perform comprehensive manual testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality.
2. Defect Reporting:
   • Report and track defects using defect tracking tools.
   • Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve defects.
3. Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect other areas of the application.
   • Validate test results and ensure accuracy and completeness.
4. Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and functionalities.
   • Participate in project meetings and provide feedback on testing status and results.
5. Process Improvement:
   • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies.
   • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in manual testing.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience with defect tracking systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
