Key Responsibilities:

As a Manual Tester at EPAM Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  2. Manual Testing: Execute manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  3. Functional Testing: Perform thorough functional testing to verify that the software meets functional requirements and specifications.
  4. API Testing: Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and reliability of application programming interfaces.
  5. Database Testing: Verify the integrity of data through database testing and ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  6. Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test reports.
  7. Defect Reporting: Report defects and issues promptly, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  8. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  9. Test Automation: Collaborate with the automation team to identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to test automation efforts.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  1. 6 to 9 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on manual testing.
  2. Proficiency in Manual Testing methodologies and best practices.
  3. Experience in Functional Testing to ensure software meets functional requirements.
  4. Knowledge of API Testing techniques and tools.
  5. Strong skills in Database Testing to validate data integrity.
  6. Ability to create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
  7. Familiarity with defect reporting and tracking processes.
  8. Test automation knowledge or experience is a plus.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  10. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
