- Manual Testing Expertise:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for API and Database Testing.
- Verify the accuracy of data, validate data integrity, and ensure seamless data flow within systems.
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, and potential issues in software functionality.
- API Testing:
- Perform thorough API Testing to validate communication between different software components.
- Create and execute API test scripts, ensuring compatibility, stability, and accuracy.
- Database Testing:
- Execute Database Testing to validate data integrity, consistency, and security.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data transformation and manipulation.
- Test Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing objectives, scope, and success criteria.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements.
- Defect Management and Reporting:
- Accurately report defects, providing detailed information to assist developers in debugging and resolution.
- Monitor defect lifecycle, verify fixes, and maintain accurate records of defect status.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and designers.
- Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience of 7.6 – 15 years in manual software testing.
- Strong expertise in API Testing and Database Testing.
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases.
- Familiarity with testing tools and version control systems.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
