Position: Manual Tester
Location: Gujarat, India
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and define test objectives, strategies, and plans.
- Test Execution: Conduct comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and areas for improvement.
- Test Case Development: Create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data sets to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Defect Reporting: Document and report defects using bug tracking tools, providing clear and concise details for effective communication with the development team.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, document test results, and track defects to ensure effective communication with the development team.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate software application stability and integrity after bug fixes or system enhancements.
- Test Environment Setup: Collaborate with the infrastructure team to set up and maintain the test environment for efficient testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure effective communication and seamless software delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies and practices, actively participating in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Manual Tester in a software development environment is required.
- Education: Candidates with MCA, BE, BTECH, or MSC degrees will be preferred.
- Technical Skills: a. Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, concepts, and best practices. b. Experience in creating test cases, test scenarios, and test data sets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
- Location: Candidates based in Gujarat will be given preference.
