Responsibilities:

  1. Perform end-to-end manual testing of insurance software applications to identify defects and ensure the software meets specified requirements.
  2. Conduct integration testing to verify the interactions between different software modules and systems within the insurance domain.
  3. Execute API testing to validate the functionality and reliability of application programming interfaces.
  4. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure full test coverage and accuracy of test results.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand the software requirements and specifications.
  6. Report and track defects, issues, and enhancements using appropriate tools and provide detailed feedback to the development team.
  7. Participate in test plan reviews, requirement analysis, and risk assessment activities to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
  8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices within the insurance domain.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry trends to enhance the overall testing capabilities of the team.
  10. Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders, providing regular status updates and participating in project status meetings.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Manual Tester in the insurance domain for a minimum of 0.6 months to 2 years.
  2. Solid understanding of manual testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  3. Experience in integration testing and familiarity with various integration testing tools and techniques.
  4. Proficient in API testing using relevant tools and frameworks.
  5. Basic knowledge of insurance industry processes, policies, and systems will be an advantage.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and document defects effectively.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  8. Detail-oriented and thorough in test execution to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  9. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  10. ISTQB or any relevant testing certification will be a plus.
