As a Manual Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our insurance software solutions through various testing activities, including integration testing and API testing. - Perform end-to-end manual testing of insurance software applications to identify defects and ensure the software meets specified requirements.
- Conduct integration testing to verify the interactions between different software modules and systems within the insurance domain.
- Execute API testing to validate the functionality and reliability of application programming interfaces.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure full test coverage and accuracy of test results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand the software requirements and specifications.
- Report and track defects, issues, and enhancements using appropriate tools and provide detailed feedback to the development team.
- Participate in test plan reviews, requirement analysis, and risk assessment activities to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices within the insurance domain.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry trends to enhance the overall testing capabilities of the team.
- Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders, providing regular status updates and participating in project status meetings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester in the insurance domain for a minimum of 0.6 months to 2 years.
- Solid understanding of manual testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in integration testing and familiarity with various integration testing tools and techniques.
- Proficient in API testing using relevant tools and frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of insurance industry processes, policies, and systems will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and document defects effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and thorough in test execution to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- ISTQB or any relevant testing certification will be a plus.
