- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and application behavior.
- Design and execute manual test cases to validate the functionality of telecom products and solutions.
- Utilize your expertise in SIP VOIP and Linux to perform thorough testing and ensure compatibility.
- Verify the performance, reliability, and responsiveness of software applications in the telecom domain.
- Identify defects, document and report them accurately, and track their resolution.
- Participate in test planning and strategy development to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers to provide detailed information for defect resolution and to verify fixes.
- Perform regression testing to validate that software changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Adhere to established testing processes and standards, ensuring consistency and accuracy in testing efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to share insights, knowledge, and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to testing methodologies and processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in telecom testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Manual Test Engineer in the telecom domain.
- Strong expertise in SIP VOIP and Linux is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience in designing and executing manual test cases.
- Familiarity with test planning, strategy development, and comprehensive test coverage.
- Knowledge of telecom protocols, networking, and related technologies.
- Ability to identify, document, and report defects accurately.
- Regression testing experience to ensure software changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Familiarity with testing processes and standards, ensuring consistency in testing efforts.
- Effective collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
