Position: Manual QA
Location: Noida, India
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual test cases and test scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements, features, and specifications.
- Identify, document, and report software defects and issues found during the testing process, ensuring accurate and detailed bug reports.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of software applications after changes or enhancements.
- Participate in test plan and test case creation, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform functional, system, and integration testing to ensure the software meets the desired quality standards.
- Validate data integrity and accuracy by conducting data validation and verification tests.
- Conduct usability and user acceptance testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on testing requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of the testing process by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in manual testing methodologies and tools.
- Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Manual QA, preferably in a software development or testing environment.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Familiarity with test case management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and the testing process.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate defects and issues to the development team.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- ISTQB certification or any relevant testing certification is a plus.
