As a Manual/Functional Tester at Matilda Cloud, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities:

• Review Requirements and Project Documentation:
  • Thoroughly review and understand system requirements, specifications, and user documentation to establish a clear understanding of the system under test.
• Test Scenario and Test Case Design:
  • Design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases based on the identified requirements and use cases.
• Test Execution:
  • Execute test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of the applications.
  • Participate in different testing phases, including Regression, Staging, and UAT testing.
• Agile Methodology:
  • Have an understanding of Agile Methodology and actively participate in Sprint events and activities.
• Defect Management:
  • Identify and report defects using an established defect life cycle and defect management process.
  • Participate in defect triage meetings as required.
• Database Testing using SQL:
  • Conduct database testing using SQL to validate data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve queries and clarify testing requirements.
  • Maintain open communication channels for effective teamwork.
• Quick Learning and Adaptability:
  • Be a quick learner and demonstrate a zeal to learn new technologies and tools rapidly.
• Independence and Ownership:
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while taking ownership of the testing process.
• Daily Status Reports:
  • Provide daily status reports on testing progress, test results, and any identified issues.

Desired Experience:

• Cloud-based Applications:
  • Experience/knowledge in testing cloud-based applications is highly recommended.
• Test Case Design and Execution:
  • Proficiency in designing and executing test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Extensive Manual Testing Experience:
  • A strong background in manual testing methodologies and best practices.
• Defect Reporting and Status Reports:
  • Knowledge of defect reporting procedures and preparing status reports for management.
