Position: Lead Test Engineer (Manual Testing)
Location: Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore & Mumbai
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the manual testing activities for software applications and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance, to understand project requirements and define testing strategies.
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure maximum test coverage.
- Execute manual test cases and document test results, defects, and any deviations from expected behavior.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects, providing detailed information for efficient resolutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely and effective bug fixes.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in software testing.
- Mentor and guide junior test engineers, providing support, feedback, and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in manual testing.
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in manual testing, with a strong understanding of QA concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Solid knowledge of software testing principles and techniques.
- Experience in functional, regression, and system testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
