Position: Guidewire Testers – Senior Associate

Location: Mumbai | Bangalore | Kolkata | Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development and testing teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire applications.
  • Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing, to validate the system’s performance.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing based on project needs and requirements.
  • Identify, track, and document software defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure their resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in Guidewire testing.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Guidewire testing is mandatory.
  2. 5-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Guidewire applications.
  3. For Guidewire with Automation Testing:
    • Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
    • Proficiency in programming languages like Java or C# for test automation scripting.
    • Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
  4. For Guidewire with Manual Testing:
    • Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies and practices.
    • Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
    • Knowledge of test management tools like HP ALM, Jira, or similar.
  5. Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter is highly desirable.
  6. Knowledge of insurance domain concepts and processes is a plus.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  10. Flexibility to work in different locations (Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad) as per project requirements.
