Job Description
What will you contribute?
As a Payments Software Test Engineer, you will contribute to the success of our payments software domain by performing functional testing and automation of test cases using Java/Selenium frameworks. You will work closely with the development team and report to the Quality Assurance Manager. Your role will be critical in ensuring the quality of our payments software solutions and contribute to the successful delivery of products to our clients.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Collaborating with the development team to understand and create functional test cases
• Automating test cases using Java/Selenium frameworks
• Executing test cases and reporting issues to the development team
• Developing and maintaining test scripts and test data for automated testing
• Participating in the design and development of new features
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise
• Providing regular status updates to the Quality Assurance Manager
Required Experience:
• Basic understanding of payments terminologies or experience working with any payments clearings
• Excellent analytical skills to identify, isolate and report issues
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working on Finastra Payments software Global Payplus is highly preferred
• Exposure to tools such as Git, Azure Pipelines, and Jira is a plus.
