Role Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled AEM QA (Adobe Experience Manager Quality Assurance) to join our team in Bangalore. As an AEM QA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications, with a specific focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) versions 6.0 or newer. If you have a solid background in manual testing and possess hands-on experience with AEM and web application testing, we encourage you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of web applications, with a strong emphasis on testing AEM-based websites.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of AEM-driven applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality products.
  • Participate in test planning, test estimation, and test strategy activities to ensure effective testing coverage.
  • Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes to maintain software integrity after code changes or updates.
  • Conduct usability testing, accessibility testing, and touch UI testing to ensure a seamless user experience across various devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM versions, features, and best practices to ensure effective and efficient testing.

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Manual Testing:
    • Proven experience in manual testing of web applications, including test case design and execution.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and report software defects accurately.
  2. AEM: 6.0 or newer versions:
    • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) versions 6.0 or newer.
    • Proficiency in testing AEM-based websites and applications.
  3. Web Application Testing:
    • Familiarity with testing web applications, understanding the client-server architecture and user interactions.
    • Experience in testing various web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  4. Touch UI:
    • Knowledge and experience in testing touch-enabled user interfaces to ensure responsiveness and user-friendliness on touch devices.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory but a plus):

  • Automation Testing: Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks for AEM-based applications.
  • Agile Methodology: Understanding of Agile development processes and experience working in Agile teams.
