Qualification and Skills
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong Java experience
- Great communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise way.
- Acts as a mentor for junior developers.
- Help foster a community of continuous improvement
- Impeccable communication skills, both oral and written. Must be comfortable presenting to large groups.
- Fosters a SP culture and fosters respect across the organization.
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Continuous Delivery
- Experience working on a Big Data/Machine Learning product
- Experience instrumenting code for gathering production performance metrics
- BS in Computer Science, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust Java based microservices.
- Produce designs and rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements.
- Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing.
- Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features.
