Shift: IST Full Shift (10:30 AM to 7:30 PM IST)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Cocoa Touch
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Design and build applications for the iOS platform

• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, iOS technologies, and best practices
• Following a ticket system, troubleshooting and resolving bugs
• Proactively recommend improvements and new solutions
• Working under the Line Manager and handling a team of other iOS Developers
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster skill development and best practices
• Integrate with external APIs and web services to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to ensure the application’s performance and reliability

This Role Requires:

• BSc Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Portfolio of work to show the skill set
• Proficiency with Swift and Cocoa Touch (+6 Years Experience)
• Experience with XCode & Git flow
• Ability to write clean testable code
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, CallKit, User Notifications etc.
• Familiarity with using RESTful APIs to connect back-end services
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Familiarity with push notifications & app extension management
• Familiarity with Agile Development
• Eager to learn new technologies

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Reactive Programming
• Experience with XMPP, WebRTC or a messaging app development
• Experience working with Firebase
• Experience with encryption algorithms
• Experience with media operations
