We currently offer the following position in our office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India which will be hybrid. You will join Leica Microsystems Medical Team based out in Bengaluru office.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative medical software applications as part of an international cross-functional team.
- Define software specifications together with business unit partners and functional management.
- Draw conclusions for the software architecture and implementation based on our platform architecture.
- Support the regulatory affairs team in the medical device documentation.
- Innovate of unique features and drafting of patents.
Our Expectations:
- Bachelor of Engineering or master’s in software engineering/IT/Mathematics or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in software development with In-depth knowledge of programming language C++ preferably Version 17 or newer.
- Proficiency in applying the knowledge to designing C++ programs and solving problems.
- In-depth understanding of SOLID principle/Design patterns.
- Excellent communicator — required to communicate complex solutions, in an easy-to-understand manner, to clients and subordinates.
- Good time management skills — must deliver projects within the stipulated time.
- Good at Code review and writing unit test using GTest.
- Team Player with a focused, goal-oriented, and self-dependent working attitude.
- Extremely strong problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Organizational skills — the ability to plan and organize projects.
Desired
- Master’s degree
- GPU programming using CUDA, Real-time systems.
- Experience in Regulated Medical Device software development, knowledge of relevant standards.
