Job Title: UI Engineer

Responsibilities:
As a UI Engineer at Flipkart, you will be responsible for the following:
Front-end Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement user interfaces for web applications.
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive and interactive web pages.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize application performance.
- Continuously improve the user experience by implementing innovative and intuitive features.
UI/UX Design Integration:
- Collaborate with designers to understand user requirements and design concepts.
- Implement UI designs and ensure pixel-perfect rendering across different devices and browsers.
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback for iterative design improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest front-end development trends, technologies, and best practices.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers, back-end developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with the testing team to identify and resolve UI-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of development processes and workflows.
Requirements:
- Graduation or Post-graduation in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related).
- Strong knowledge and experience in front-end web development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub).
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to work with design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch) and implement UI/UX designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
