As a Quality Assurance and Project Coordinator at Sprintale Technologies, your primary responsibilities will encompass both QA and project coordination functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of software projects while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Quality Assurance:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans, including test objectives, scope, and timelines.
- Test Case Creation: Create detailed test cases based on project requirements and specifications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional aspects.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools, documenting test results and defects accurately.
- Defect Management: Identify, report, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to verify that previously identified defects have been fixed and that new changes do not introduce new issues.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with the performance testing team to ensure that applications meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
Project Coordination:
- Project Planning: Assist project managers in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Task Tracking: Create and maintain project schedules, track progress, and proactively identify and address project risks and issues.
- Communication: Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed about project status, milestones, and changes.
- Resource Management: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including team members and equipment, to meet project objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Client Interaction: Interact with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address any concerns or feedback.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in quality assurance and/or project coordination roles.
- QA Skills: Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools. Experience with test case design and execution.
- Project Coordination Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in quality assurance and project management (e.g., ISTQB, PMP) are a plus.
- Agile Experience: Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Automation Skills: Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages is a plus.
- Client-Facing Experience: Prior experience in client-facing roles or customer support.
